I specialize in wedding and special event photojournalism and on-location portraiture. Well-chosen natural surroundings often serve as the best backdrop, but I also am able to bring a variety of muslin backdrops on location for professional and traditional portraiture. While I am pleased to provide my customers with traditional images, what sets my photography apart is my drive and ability to capture genuine moments and emotions. For portraits, I seek to create photographs that reflect a person's most positive feelings about himself or herself. I believe a good portrait serves as a reminder of where we are on our life’s journey as well as offering a glimpse of where we’re headed. The environment of the portrait creates a mood and helps tell a person's story. When I cover special events, my mission is to record the multitude of emotions that cross the faces of families and friends. A wedding, birthday, family reunion or other special event is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to capture special moments and the essence of loving relationships. For the weddings and other events featured on this Web site I took hundreds of high-impact shots that tell the story of each occasion from beginning to end. My customers receive CDs with their high-resolution images, which allows them, their family and friends to order as many prints as they desire as well as print out images on their desktop printers. I also offer full-service professional photography lab prints, mounted canvas prints, and CD slide shows for those who would rather save time than money. Because of my extensive training in Photoshop I am also able to provide customers with touch ups at their request and special effects such as a combination of the use of color and black and white in the same photograph.
